🏃 Physical Fitness Requirements
1.6 KM Run
Candidates must complete a 1.6 km run within the prescribed time limit as per their age group.
Pull-ups (Beam)
Minimum pull-ups required as per the post. Higher reps earn additional marks in merit scoring.
9-Feet Ditch Jump
Candidates must successfully clear a 9-feet wide ditch as part of the Physical Efficiency Test.
💰 Agniveer Monthly Salary Package
On completion of the 4-year Agniveer tenure, candidates receive a lump sum Seva Nidhi package. Additionally, 25% of Agniveers may be considered for permanent Army service based on performance and vacancies.
🔄 Selection Process
Online Written Examination
Computer-based objective test conducted from 01–15 June 2026 as per schedule.
Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
1.6 km run, pull-ups (beam), 9-feet ditch jump, and other physical assessments at the rally ground.
Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
Height, weight, and chest measurement checks as per post-specific norms.
Medical Examination
Comprehensive health and fitness check by Army Medical Officers to ensure full fitness for service.
Document Verification
Original educational certificates, age proof, domicile, and other required documents are verified.
Merit List & Final Selection
Final merit is prepared combining written exam score and physical performance. Selected candidates receive joining letters.
